Welcome

We appreciate you taking the time to learn about Rotary and about the Rotary Club of Point West.  I wish I could describe our club to you but that is not possible. The only thing I can do is tell you about some of the things we do. I cannot describe our club because it is unique. It is a collection of over 160 members that has its own character and personality. It is definitely not your Daddy's Rotary club. You can only experience our fun and camaraderie by attending one of our Friday morning meetings at the Red Lion - Sacramento Inn at 7am.  You are welcome and you will be included.

Rotary's theme during the 2007-2008 year is "Rotary Shares". Rotarians share their time, their talents, their expertise and their money to successfully carry out projects that tackle humanitarian and social issues. Our club theme this year is "Point West Rotary, I'm So Excited". Our club believes in having a fun and exciting experience while contributing to our community.  At Point West Excitement and Sharing cannot be separated.

We can only build on the success of a record breaking year in 2006-2007 of raising over $115,000 for charities ranging from Encina High School, Jonas Salk Middle School and the Assistance League in our local area, to the poorest areas of Sweetwaters in South Africa where we help people help themselves.
